A piece I did that was about that rare glimpse of afternoon sun during winter in the Midwest, which makes a nap in the window so nice. I had picked up the vintage afghan at a flea market, because I loved its beautiful colors. Was planning to use it in a still life (and still may), but this opportunity happened first.
It is currently on hold for a buyer, but they have committed yet, so inquiries are welcome. Price is for unframed. Available in vintage frame for an additional $50. Email for photos if you're interested in the painting framed.
Exhibition/Awards History
- Judge's Award, American Impressionist Society, Associates Showcase, a national competition. Equivalent to second place. A show with over 2200 entries and only a 10% acceptance rate.
- Body Eclectic 2024 (juried), Lawrence Street Gallery, Ferndale, Michigan.
