When my grandmother died, I was offered my pick of some of her things. I purposely passed on anything of much value and chose her humble kitchen tools. Whenever I use them, I feel close to her. She had much stronger hands than me, lol. This rolling pin has the most beautiful wood, probably left over from all her cookies and pies. She is missed, and will be always.
